Short Term Volunteer Opportunities

Project 20 Community Service – individuals working to pay off traffic citations through Project 20 assist us seven days a week with the hundreds of loads of laundry we do at the SF SPCA. If you are interested in community service through Project 20, please call 415-522-3523 or email volunteers@sfspca.org.

Corporate Volunteer Groups: Special half-day projects which are scheduled Tuesday-Friday from 9:30 am-1:00 pm, are for corporate groups or clubs (up to 12 people) to help with gardening, painting, or beautifying our Mission Campus. Most of these special volunteer projects do not include direct animal care or handling, but do include a tour (where you get to see our adoptable animals) and an overview of our mission and programs. Group Service Project dates are set in advance and we cannot accommodate specific date requests.

We are grateful to corporate volunteer groups like yours to help us complete important projects on our campuses.   To cover the supplies and administrative costs of your project as well as support our life saving programs we strongly suggest a donation based on your company’s annual budget (see guidelines below) to the San Francisco SPCA upon confirmation of your service project date.
